In a word, “Wow.” We were amazed by the conference attendees’ level of interest in Phantom for security automation and orchestration! In case you missed the RSA conference this year, here are a couple of highlights from the Phantom perspective.
Phantom 2.1 Early Access: Demos, Demos, and more Demos
The Phantom booth at the conference was packed with visitors every day from open to close. We demonstrated our latest Phantom release, version 2.1, which entered its Early Access phase last week. The release includes a number of great enhancements, including updates to the visual playbook editor and support for on-platform case management. Head over to the Phantom community to learn more.
We’d like to thank everyone (even our competitors) for stopping by to see what we’ve been up to.
Our CEO and co-founder, Oliver Friedrichs, was also featured on a RSAC TV segment. Oliver discussed the impact of winning the RSA Sandbox Innovation Award in 2016, how Phantom’s approach to security automation and orchestration is different, and what we’re looking forward to in 2017. It’s a great segment, and you can view a recording of it here.
In summary, the level of interest in security automation and orchestration at the conference really underscored what we’ve observed for some time. The security community is actively seeking out platforms like Phantom to help them:
- Work smarter by automating repeatable security processes,
- Respond faster by reducing investigation and response workflows from hours to seconds, and
- Strengthen their defenses by triaging every alert and dramatically reducing resolution times.
We are so excited to be part of this movement in the security industry. Thanks again to all attendees for making RSA Conference 2017 one to remember!
